The following is a recent report from Ben and Angela Thorpe, who are field workers in the Ukraine.

“Each month we visit Mariinka orphanage in the Donetsk area.  A small group from our church (Spasitel) visit every month.  This brings joy to the kids we see.  There are about 300 kids in this state run orphanage but we always visit the same class of 25 kids.  We take small gifts to them and sometimes play football with them.  We are privileged to be able to be a part of their lives.  The kids know us by name and expect us every month.  We are able to pray with them and share God’s love with them.   They ask us why we are here and we have been able to share our faith and pray with them.”
