Recently Ps Alun Davies and Ps Sean Stanton visited the Akha girls safe house in Maesai North Thailand to open a new extension on the home. While there, they were asked many questions about the Victorian bushfires. As a result, the leaders in the home decided to give one month’s salary each to the Bushfire appeal and each of the girls tithed their small monthly allowance to the appeal. The amount raised came to nearly $300!! Both the girls in the home and the staff gave with great generosity from their very meagre resources. It was a very touching moment when they came together giving their small coins for this cause. May the Lord abundantly bless these wonderful girls and the special team of leaders who minister to them.
