A moment in Mozambique

May 28, 2009 by News
The Harts are doing a wonderful work in Mozambique – Here are some of the highlights from their May newsletter.
“As a family we travelled 500km south to a beachside community with a team of South Africans who travelled to Mozambique to spend 2 weeks on outreach. Walking through the village gave us a chance to share the good news with many people and invite them to see the Jesus film being shown at night.

It was a joy to see so many people respond to the true message of salvation. The people of Africa are hungry for the Gospel to become real in their lives. We invite churches to bring a team and join us on a short – term trip. As you change another person’s life your life will change also.

Home made Guitar

When visiting villages some of the things you see are amazing. One day we saw this home made guitar carved from local bush wood. The strings were made from cable off a pushbike, unwound one cable provides many spare strings.
The pastor who made this guitar was pleased to show off his creation and played it at any chance, the sound it produced was quite different and enjoyable to listen to!”

If you are interested in going on or taking a team on a short-term trip to work with the Harts please contact our Pre Field Officer by emailing pre.field@wm.acc.org.au
